Hello and thank you for stopping by. My name is Aija [EYE-ya]. My day job revolves around association management but in the evenings and weekends I paint.

When I was in high school, I took painting, drawing, and composition classes for two years. Then--decades of doing nothing in this space... until I stumbled across an online art class in July 2021, and it opened a flood gate of creativity and experimentation. I work primarily with acrylic and add details with pastel and paint markers. I tend to paint more abstract than realistic, and my intent for the pieces is to convey joy and positive energy, draw interest, maybe bring up a memory or a feeling, and make you smile.
